Meet The Pastor
Reverend Hill is also a graduate of the Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program and is a certified Spiritual Director. He is an active committee member of Spiritual Direction, Colorado. As a bi-vocational pastor, Reverend Hill is employed as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor for the Addiction Research Treatment Services (University of Colorado), where he counsels opioid-dependent patients in recovery. In addition to serving our ‘Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Reverend Hill is an Order of the Flame covenant community member (1998). He has served on the Kansas-Missouri Region Committee on Ministry, Board of Trustees, and Joint Board of Finance. Reverend Hill is a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant (E-8) and resides with his wife, Dr. La Tasha Bruner-Hill, a Nurse Practitioner, and their children (Josiah, Jayden, Jordan, and J’Nayia) in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Cleaves Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church strives to be a transforming church for Jesus Christ within a changing world. Currently, our pastor is the Rev. Anthony Curtis Hill, who also serves as the Presiding Elder of the Kansas District.
Cleaves Memorial C.M.E Church is a member of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, known as the C.M.E. Church. Cleaves Memorial is in the 3rd District. The Episcopal leader of the Third Episcopal District is Bishop Sylvester Williams, Sr.
